Talk, Talk: the Month of the Water Rat 2017

December 8, 2017

This is the second Monthly Bulletin in our new format. It tells you briefly how the month may turn out for you as well as where to concentrate for best outcomes. And this month, a little about Remove Days and how to use them. There’s no actual Feng Shui Diary here. Which as it is not so time-sensitive, will be with you later in the month. Watch this space.
Meanwhile you can top up daily on Twitter (@FengShuiDiaries), LinkedIn and FaceBook. Best to like my page rather than be my friend if you’d prefer to avoid politics, rants, cute micropigs and photos of my grandchildren.

Brief introduction: a month of restoration, a time to invite and/or initiate positive intervention.

Talk, Talk: the Month of the Water Rat 2017.

Hexagram 24Animal by Animal
During this Water Rat Month,
The Rat talks,
The Ox prepares for power,
The Tiger revs up,
The wise Rabbit burrows – for now;
The Dragon breaks through,
The Snake breathes again,
The Horse rears up,
The smart Sheep falls back,
The Monkey jokes,
The Rooster is finally ready,
The Dog may feel uprooted,
and
The Pig now has space.

Remember: the 4 Pillars of your ba zi relate to Year, Month, Day and Hour of birth. Each represents different aspects of your life:
Year Animal: physicality, forebears, heritage, the obvious and immediate;
Month Animal: the work environment, education, peers, siblings, exes;
Day Animal: you and your beloved;
Hour Animal: your most intimate thoughts, children, dreams, the future.

A 7 month promises er interference, interruption & ultimately intervention.
A Rat month favours communication.
Most helpful location: East.
Favoured Animals: Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Ox.
Especially challenged one way or another: Horse, Sheep.
Hexagram: Fu, The Return; Earth over Thunder. I’m back & I’m proud.
Remove Days:
Remove is one of the so-called “Daily Officers” which run in a twelve-day cycle. The Officers indicate what kind of behaviour is broadly appropriate day by day. Just to make it easy, other things may make such a day dangerous or unhelpful. The process of assessing which is which is called Ze Ri, that is Date Selection. The Chinese have been using this method to time important events for literally thousands of years and part of my work is identifying helpful dates for weddings, journeys and so on.
Remove days are for the disposal of the unwanted; could be anything from unwelcome weight or vermin to what goes into the bin while spring-cleaning, even jettisoning stubborn furniture that won’t recycle. Remove Days are most effective when, like last month they coincide with a Full Moon. But be careful what you wish away; logically Remove days are ideal for surgery and other procedures but also for break-ups. As I say, discretion is good.
This month unusually there are two generally helpful Remove Days: the 16th and 28th December. The 16th supports a moving-on, a rejection of nostalgia and past hurt. It’s probably of most use to Pig, Dog. Sheep and Rabbit. The next on the 28th just after Christmas, is handily timed for a big day of recycling and returning unwanted items! Also starting weight-removing diets and jettisoning old habits. It favours SnakeRooster, Ox and Rat, but may be helpful to all.

Where to be in December.
Summary: the place of power.
North West, Authority: Year Star: 2 Month Star: 8. Special Star: Sun.
Helpful. The return of benign authority.  A good space for Dads and for communication with Dads. This is among other things a month of mending fences. With the 2, the makes a transformational 10. This combination also suggests acquisition especially of property. Facing this way or sleeping with our heads at this end of the bed will tend to emphasise power – especially if your kua (a simple calculation based on your date of birth– which we can do for you) belongs to what is known as the West Group. Empowering also for Rabbit, Dog, Sheep and Tiger.
Enhancement: Bright light (that is Fire) and/or Metal.
Where not to be in December.
Summary: debilitating for now.
South, Bright Future: Year Star: wu huang, Month Star: 2.
2 and together are reckoned to herald minor sickness; the older woman being the likely fall-gal. So there’s little change here just yet and the t’ang lung charm (we can supply these) remains the most elegant solution. Harshest for kuas 2, 6, 7 and 8, Rat and Ox, the actual nature of the 5’s mischief is indicated by its location and company so embarrassment remains the down side. Metal will weaken the effect of both stars. Spousal dispute is another outcome. You know the drill: stay away if you can.
Solution: Metal objects , 6 Pipe Metal Windchime, wu lout’ang lung.

Talking about 2018, The Year of the Earth Dog:

Richard Ashworth is among the most respected Western Feng Shui Masters. He has worked from the Lebanon to Bermuda, in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and with stars such as Kelly Hoppen and Gillian Anderson. Unusually for a Western Master, he has addressed the Grand Masters at the International Feng Shui Conference in Singapore. His day job remains “walking round people’s spaces being enigmatic”.
We send out to Retainer Clients a (much) more comprehensive monthly bulletin covering in detail, the right places to be (and when) as well as helpful days Animal by Animal and much more from the Chinese calendar. It is available by subscription.

The Golden Pig: the Month of the Metal Pig 2017

November 10, 2017

Slightly different format this month. No editorial/chit-chat. There’ll be plenty in the Diary which will go out a little later in the month. This is more of a bulletin and we’ll call it that from now.
From time to time we aim to replace or augment bulletins and diaries with video.
So watch your inbox.

I hope this meets with your approval. Any feedback, comments, expressions of resentment or joy that you may feel the need to respond with are of course very welcome.

Hexagram 2

Animal by Animal
During this Metal Pig Month,
The Rat is ready,
The Ox may defend,
The Tiger sees openings,
The Rabbit finds company;
The Dragon holds fast if she’s smart,
The Snake is especially truthful,
The Horse may have lonely moments,
The Sheep joins up,
The old Monkey tries new tricks,
The Rooster either preys or prays,
The Dog may feel uprooted,
and
The Pig needs space.

Remember there is an Animal in your ba zi relating to each of the Year, Month, Day and Hour of birth that represents different aspects of your life:
Year Animal:               physicality, forebears, heritage, the obvious
and the immediate.
Month Animal:           the work environment, education, peers, siblings,
exes;
Day Animal:               you and your beloved;
Hour Animal:             your most intimate thoughts, children, dreams,
the future.

An 8 month implies immediate positive change.
Most helpful location: tai chi – the geometrical heart of the house
Favoured Animals: Rabbit, Sheep and Tiger.
Especially challenged one way or another: Pig, Snake, Monkey.
The Hexagram (above): Kun, Earth; the source of power, all to play for.

A Day with Richard Ashworth:
The Year of the Mutt, Forecast Day 2018,
The Year of the Earth Dog
,

Sat December 2nd, Godalming.

The Earth Dog is resolute. She is restless and immovable, an uneasy combination; which may be why so many powerful women were born under this sign; they just don’t know how to give up. The emerging 9th Fate continues to make this the Age of Woman and 2018 will see that re-balancing proceed.

In 2018 a house facing South East may be favoured. There are however many ways to harness the fresh energy which we will be discussing. Similarly Rabbits may find themselves with some sort of free ticket and the Dragon may feel challenged. None of this is written in stone however, as you will learn.

Globally we can expect the establishment to be shaken but not stirred. The map suggests trouble in North Korea (no prizes for that) but also Venezuela, Morocco, Nepal and among the Uighurs of Western China. Unbalanced Dogs like Donald Trump will tend to continue to shy away from self-awareness and Horses such as Angela Merkel may chase their own tails.

As the sage wrote, the only constant is change, so for each country, each occupation and each individual there will be fresh opportunities. Whether these prove positive or otherwise is a question of our choice in reacting to them. Though we all have preferences the tao is generally without bias.

If there is a point in knowing Classical Chinese Feng Shui it is surely to make our lives and those around us happier, healthier, wealthier and wiser. As it happens in 2017 the Roosters of 1957 hit 60 (that is the end of their first cycle). In a sense this means they landed back in the late 1950’s with the opportunity to pick up on the lessons missed first time round. This principle made 2016 an interesting year for 1956 Fire Monkey Theresa May and understanding it, the Qing Emperor Qian Loong actually retired to grow vegetables after ruling from 1733 to 1793. Where in that cycle of 60 years are you as you read this?

Horticulture may not be your plan but you might like to join us on December 2nd  in Godalming (repeated online via Zoom on the 3rd) to examine how the coming year is likely to affect you, your family, your business and the world.
Info: sheilaashworthfengshui@gmail.com
For the thrifty, the Early Bird offer remains open.

Where to be in November.
Summary: the most creative location currently.
Tai chi, the Heart: Year Star: 1 Month Star: 8.
Home is where the heart is and this is the heart of the home. Both of these stars are helpful; the 1 loosens tongues (generally in a good way) and the 8 makes things work. When these Stars meet, it’s time to push the boat out. If we add Metal in the form of a 6-Pipe Metal Windchime or even simply Metal objects, we can make the helpful 1:6:8 combination. Alternately constant bright light stimulates the 8 to deliver. Either way, aim to spend time at the heart of your space this month.
Enhancement: Bright light (that is Fire) and/or Metal.

Where not to be in November.
Summary: the least helpful area right now.
South West, Accumulation: Year Star 7, Month Star: 5.
The South West relates to relationship, co-operation, gentleness, the Mother and all the qualities associated with Woman and the yin. The 7 there all year has made the equality of women top priority and the mischievous 5 brings it to a head. It’s likely to be a shaky month if we locate or face SW too much. SW-facing buildings of course and SW doors suffer the same drawbacks. Who’s going to tell Harvey Weinstein?
Solution: Metal objects , 6 Pipe Metal Windchime, wu lou .

East and West Groups: Everybody falls into either the East or the West Group by virtue of their birth date. The calculation is simple but if you do want to know where you belong, email me at richardashworth@imperialfengshui.info.
Readers Digest version: East Group people best face East, South, South-East and North and/or in buildings and beds backing onto these directions. West Group vice-versa. Sorry it’s fiddly, I’m not making this stuff up.

Hexagram 19

The Ox Month
Animal by Animal
During this Metal Ox Month,
The Rat takes instruction,
The Ox stays in charge,
The Tiger is expectant,
The smart Rabbit is preparing meticulously,
The Dragon is ready to roll,
The Snake is rolling already,
The wise Horse draws back,
The wiser Sheep may retreat,
The Monkey takes greater care,
The rash Rooster risks mortification,
The Dog may break some ties,
but
The Pig is learning all the time.

Know your inner beast. How Ox are you?
Birth in the Ox Hour (1am-3am)~: late conversion of some sort.
Birth on the Ox Day#: empathetic, even psychic.
Birth during the Ox Month (January)*: at work a sticker.
Birth in the Ox Year: spiritual tradition.
~ GMT. # You’ll need a Chinese calendar for this. * Caution: Chinese months start later.

Where to do what, when and why
Summary: Here’s where to go in order to be known.
South East, Determination: Year Star: 9 Dragon Virtue, Month Star: 7.
Best front door and generally the best direction to face all year.
Dragon Virtue supports the good reputation of all, kuas 1 3 4 and 9 in particular as well as certain Monkeys, Rats, Snakes, Roosters and Oxen (Dragons may find it competitive – not that that’s necessarily bad). All year this is the place to locate in order to be noticed in a positive way although this month you may experience a little frustration due to the 7.
Enhance with: Clockwork devices (eg a music box).
Four Plants (eg bamboo stems) help all year.

East and West Groups: Everybody falls into either East or West Group by virtue of their birth date.

Special days unique to the New Year
Lunar New Year: Sat Jan 28th 19:35 Wood Rabbit; Maiden, Full. A principle of date selection (or ze ri xue) is that what is done on the selected day echoes forward. This is doubly true on a Full day which may prefigure the whole year. This is not such a special day but for many including the traditionally-minded Chinese, it is the true New Year.

Solar New Year: Fri Feb 3rd 23:49 Metal Rooster; Mound, Success. These are fine portents for 2017. The Solar New Year is about the physical world and practicality, and Mound implies the need for positive focused action such as placing a Water Dragon. Plans made today and the action following will tend to flourish. This is for many, the astrological New Year.
The Turkey cometh.
“If we meet evil before it becomes reality- before it has even begun to stir – we can master it.”
The Book of Changes Hexagram 19.

Here we are in the sluggish nomanstime between years. A cusp, if you will, this is the time to be making major feng shui changes while the effect of the Monkey can hardly be felt and the Rooster is as yet not quite here. The North East can be opened up again now and the South has become delicate; on the other hand an activated South-East-facing building gets a turbo charge all year. These are among the differences between the years and most of my time right now is spent making those changes until about mid-February. We can guide you by Skype/Zoom, let you have written drills or I can visit; I have a few time slots left.

In January 2012 during this twilight time, I advised Britain’s favourite designer Kelly Hoppen, to paint her office wall red. Which to her great credit, she did. And remember, this is the queen of monochrome, the populiser of taupe. Whether connected or not, what followed is matter of record: Dragons Den, A-list status and more to the point, a happiness that had seemed to elude her before. We fell out in 2014 btw.

Much of the reasoning for this advice came from her ba zi, that is her Animal Fortune for that year. As for how 2017 is likely to affect you and me personally, you have your own annual Animal Fortunes for the year now: 2017: Year of the Turkey. If you’re uneasy with what you read, well that’s what the feng shui changes are for. Feng shui is often thought of as prescription where ba zi is diagnosis. If we fear a plague of boils or want to achieve against the odds, we get our feng shui right for the year.

As for the world……

Technically this is a Fire Rooster year with a 1 lo shu (or magic square). A Fire Rooster year is likely to be one of strutting and posing. 1 indicates a time of communication.

Under the Rooster the Dragon gets something of a free ticket; examples are Vladimir Putin, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage, all of whom will continue to subordinate the facts to their various ambitions in this post-truth world. The Snake too; Bashar al-Assad is unlikely to face much music before his nemesis year of the Pig 2019.  But also the Ox; if you want to be up to date with the opposition to the forces of darkness, look no further than Metal Ox Barack Obama who is either a. not the man he has appeared to be or b. the focus of opposition.

And finally this is a year of compromise. A 1 year concerns negotiation. The forces of post-truth interestingly, fear disagreement and unpopularity more than anything. There is something about the Fire Dog – George W Bush, Bill Clinton, David Bowie and most particularly Donald Trump – that experiences the whole world as being against them. On some level they think of themselves as victims; this may be what drives them. The world to them is a bully that won’t acknowledge their greatness. A man who can’t sleep until he has redressed the injustice of a critical Tweet is very susceptible to the weight of public opinion. So popular opposition and public discussion will be very effective this year. Don’t hold back from demonstrating or marching (or voting) because you believe it makes no difference. It really does.

And ba zi-wise the closest comparison for Trump remains Elvis Presley; do with this information Anchoras you will.

Distracted by Shiny Things:
2017, the Fire Rooster: the Year of the Turkey.
What to do next?

Tune-Ups, Bulletins, Studying Ba Zi & Feng Shui, Retainers
with Richard Ashworth in 2017.

A South-Eastern door looks helpful in 2017 – but how do you enhance it? Dragons and Snakes look set but what about Rabbits and the Roosters themselves? How do we capitlaise on the fresh energy? In answer to such questions, here are some ways we might work together this year:

 1. A Tune-Up survey brings your work or living space into the Year of the Fire Rooster. Richard identifies the spots that need attention and attends to them or tells you what to do. If we’ve mapped it already, this will take 2-4 hours and we’ll charge you less. Otherwise set the controls for ½ a day.

2. A subscription to our Monthly and Weekly Bulletins will tell you week by week and month by month, where to do what, when and often why. This can be very useful for planning such activities as travel and crucial meetings.

3. Studying feng shui or ba zi; we run starter courses on each which are available as a group “live” thing from time to time or (constantly) via Skype/Zoom. Both bought together will cost you less.

4. Hand-drafted ba zi and consultation, one to one. Ba zi of course plots the cycle of time as it applies to you and will tend to show major milestones, preferences and blockages. The ba zi is perhaps the very best device there is for identifying major moments of choice. And doing something about them. A follow-up session, if Richard has already drafted your ba zi is often a good way to start the year.

5. Soul Retainer. For a single annual payment, you receive a Tune-Up, Monthly and Weekly Bulletins and a further four hours one-to-one over the year as well as attendance at next year’s Forecast Weekend.

Read Your Individual Animal Forecast for 2017

Animal Fortunes for 2017, The Fire Rooster,
the Year of the Turkey.
“If we meet evil before it becomes reality- before it has even begun to stir – we can master it.”
The Book of Changes Hexagram 19.

Go Directly To Your Animal Fortune for 2017 here.

Everyone knows that the Chinese New Year falls on February 4th. Except the Chinese. Your local take-away actually is likely to be closed overnight the 27th/28th January this year which is when the Lunar New Year starts. And of course it would be ridiculous to think of energy changing instantly from one year to another like a door closing. Nature does not work in straight lines like that; there are a number of markers, as the energy of the Fire Monkey ebbs and the Fire Rooster comes to life. Several of these are now past. And here we are in the sluggish nomanstime between years. A cusp, if you will, this is the time to be making major feng shui changes while the effect of the Monkey can hardly be felt and the Rooster is as yet not quite here. I am now making those annual changes in my own environment and in those of my clients.

So how is the year likely to affect you and me? And what can we do about it? Some answers may be here Animal by Animal, among your forecasts for the year. Please remember however that no astrological analysis is more powerful than your choice and that you always have free will.

Also remember that your ba zi (the snapshot of your moment of birth often misleadingly called a Chinese Horoscope) consists of Four Animals each of which will be affected differently by the new year. What I aim to do when I am hand-drafting a ba zi is to recognise and interpret the blend of these effects that indicate the likely nature of your year. And this year above all is a year of communication. And the fact is that truthful communication can transform anything.

Fire Rooster Day, a look at 2017 – A Day with Richard Ashworth

November 22, 2016
Only FOUR places left! Current Early Bird is £100!

The Fire Rooster
2017 : the Year of the Turkey.
A Day with Richard Ashworth Dec 3rd 10am Godalming Pepperpot

What can men do against such reckless hate?”
The Two Towers.

Aleppo, Trump, Brexishambles. What next? How much Monkey chaos will carry on into the Rooster Year? As it happens, I’ve been calling it the Year of the Turkey for some time now. For good reason. However black it seems though, this is the dark before the light.

Join me on Dec 3rd/10th and I’ll do my best to explain.

And the fact is that there’s rarely been a time when having some idea of the likely themes and events of the coming year has been as important. Any Rooster year is likely to be one when show, publicity and packaging disguise content, as well as a time of upheaval and revolution. This one especially so; it’s a year to ask difficult questions. But which questions? And of whom?

Be comforted that the annual lo shu or “magic square” has at its centre the Watery 1 of communication. It’ll be a year of talk and negotiation as well as spin. It is in the nature of yin and yang that for every action, there is a reaction. It may be hard to see right now but in the great arc of things, sometimes it gets darker before it gets lighter.

On the world stage, the trouble spots will move. We’ll have a look at that too. If I’m right we can be ready.

In our houses, the Eastern area will call for very careful treatment to forestall a plague of boils, as will the South. A South East door looks handy as does (unusually) Water in the tai chi or “heart” of the house.

As for your Animals, free tickets (or at least well-positioned ones) to the year go to some Dragons, Snakes and Oxen. The Rooster herself will have to approach the year especially carefully as will some Rabbits and Dogs.  More I’m not giving away before December.

Internationally the likely trouble spots essentially move East. There’s more, much of it ultimately very hopeful; I will be expanding on this at the Pepperpot, Godalming High Street between 10 and 5 on the 3rd December. Join us. A better future starts here.

Be sure to bring with you details of any property, issue or individual with whom you are concerned.

Fire Rooster Day, a look at 2017 – Early Bird Ending Soon

October 25, 2016

Early Bird Price of £85.00 expires on the 1st November!

The Fire Rooster
Distracted by Shiny Things”, 2017 : the Year of the Turkey.
A Day with Richard Ashworth Dec 3rd 10am Godalming Pepperpot

“Meet the New Boss, same as the old boss” – Pete Townsend, “Won’t get fooled again.”

The Fire Rooster of the coming year is a capricious bird. Blessed with the charm to inspire life-long devotion, he often chooses instead to hold back, satisfied with simply dazzling. So 2017 is likely to be a year when show, publicity and packaging disguise content. It’s a year to ask difficult questions. In any case the Rooster’s yin Metal nature makes it the year of research as well as subterfuge.

This quality of making an empty impression indicates the year’s underlying nature. The least balanced Dragons (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988) will tend to have something of a free ticket (good news for Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Vladimir Putin btw). They could use it to burst bubbles and highlight what’s worth highlighting. Snakes (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989) like Tony Blair and Basharat Assad prosper beyond all reasonable expectation as do Oxen – among them Barack Obama. And yes, it’s the year of the overstayed welcome as well as of the empty posture.

Meanwhile the annual lo shu or “magic square” has at its centre the Watery 1 of communication. So it’s also a year of talk, negotiation and spin. The trick will be to not allow this jaw-jaw to be empty. The Rabbit has a big role here – to challenge, bad faith and half-truth. You’ll win through as long as you stick to what matters. Angelina Jolie, this means you; your time is better spent calling governments on their arms-selling record than your ex on his spliff habit. In 2017 older Dogs will tend to bark less; Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Donald Trump – all born 1946 – will fade away. This is the last wag of the old guard; sleeping dogs, let them lie.

In our houses, the Eastern area will call for very careful treatment to forestall a plague of boils, as will the South. This makes it a year of careful manoeuvering for the 50% of us designated East Group by our birth details. The saving grace is that a South East door looks handy as does (unusually) Water in the tai chi or “heart” of the house. More I’m not going to give away before December.

Internationally the likely trouble spots are unsurprising: the Far East of course but also the East and South of anything. Flooding is likely for instance in East Anglia and hurricanes along the Carolina coast though they’ll tend to be more destructive in the Gulf of Mexico. Eastern Ukraine, the North West frontier (that’s Eastern Afghanistan) are trouble spots, as is Moscow and the Great Barrier Reef. In Europe the turmoil moves East – from for instance Austria to Hungary and Berlin to Warsaw. Not the greatest year in Canary Wharf either. Or the White House. And let’s not forget that it is not simply because worldwide turkeys are voting for Christmas that I’m calling this they year of the turkey. Or Turkey.

Richard will be talking a lot more about all of this at the Pepperpot, Godalming High Street between 10 and 5 on the 3rd December. Join us. The future starts here.

Be sure to bring with you details of any property, issue or individual with whom you are concerned.

Last year, this weekend sold out very quickly. We have three Skype places (only) available for participants who are in the GMT time zone.
For US Time Zones: I may not have told you about the 2017 forecast day I’m holding for my overseas students. It’s essentially the Fire Rooster day I host here in the UK the previous week but geared to US time zones. It’s open to all those who find that timing more convenient.

It’ll be via Skype/Zoom and hopefully start at a convenient time for you (3pm GMT is pencilled) and end at a reasonable time for you. I’ll be reviewing the year, issue by issue, animal by animal, location by location with ideas for making the best use of it. It’s a pretty comprehensive day. Hope you can make it.

2017 the Fire Rooster – A Day with Richard Ashworth

October 14, 2016

The Fire Rooster
2017 : the Year of the Turkey.

Meet the New Boss, same as the old boss”Pete Townsend, “Won’t get fooled again.”

The Fire Rooster is a capricious bird. Blessed with the charm to inspire life-long devotion, he often chooses instead to hold back, satisfied with simply dazzling. So 2017 is likely to be a year when show, publicity and packaging disguise content. It’s a year to ask difficult questions. In any case the Rooster’s yin Metal nature makes it the year both of research and subterfuge.

This quality of making an empty impression indicates the year’s underlying nature. The Dragons (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988) will tend to have something of a free ticket (good news for less balanced ones such as Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Vladimir Putin btw). It’s possible they will use it to burst bubbles and highlight what’s worth highlighting. Snakes (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989) however like Tony Blair and Basharat al-Assad prosper beyond all reasonable expectation as do Oxen – among them Barack Obama. It’s the year of the overstayed welcome as well as of the empty posture.

The annual lo shu or “magic square” of the year has at its centre the Watery 1 of communication. So set the controls for a year of talk, negotiation and spin. The trick will be to not allow this jaw-jaw to be empty. The Rabbit has a big role here – to challenge bad faith and half-truth. This is the last wag of the old guard; they are sleeping dogs, let them lie.

In our houses, the Eastern area will call for very careful treatment to forestall a plague of boils, as will the South. This makes it a year of deft manoeuvering for the 50% of us designated East Group by our birth. A saving grace is that a South East door looks handy as does (unusually) Water in the tai chi or “heart” of the house. More I’m not going to give away before December.

Internationally the likely trouble spots are unsurprising: the Far East of course but also Eastern and Southern regions; flooding is likely for instance in East Anglia and hurricanes along the Carolina coast though they’ll tend to be more destructive in the Gulf of Mexico. And let’s not forget that it is not simply because turkeys are voting for Christmas worldwide that I’m calling this the year of the turkey. This may well be the year of Turkey.

I could go on. I won’t. I’ll be talking a lot more about all of this at the Pepperpot, Godalming High Street between 10 and 5 on the 3rd December. Join us. The future starts here.
